History Lesson

Yet another game against the Hibs - but this time a Scottish Cup game. The two teams have been drawn together in the Cup increasingly frequently in recent years (’94: beat them at Easter Road, 2006: stuffed them 4-0 at Hampden, 2009: another win at Easter Road, then of course the big one in 2012: 5-1 at Hampden in the final), but blimey since then we’ve had no joy whatsoever.
So it was rather good to see the natural order restored as C.Levein impertinently remarked after the 90 minutes was up. Glory be, we'd managed to sclaff in a winner in the 86th minute, deservedly on the run of play, I’d say. Great indeed was the rejoicing. And just as we were about to leave the Diggers, the highlights came on. Well, that was that.
