Flood

After three days of snow, sleet and rain the river was rising today and the sluice was fully open. I guess they're trying to limit the impact of flooding further upstream. The water was just breaking the banks when I walked this morning and I had to divert my walk as it was clear that my planned route would be impassable in places. But the weather has dried up somewhat and apparently it'll be unnaturally warm tomorrow, for January. Hopefully that won't include more rain as everything is saturated now.
