Bouquet.

These are my lovely flowers from M's Mum and Dad from the weekend. They were from the florist where M's Mum has her shop-within-a-shop selling home-made macarons and they show no signs of wilting like the supermarket flowers just yet, they are absolutely gorgeous.

Today was the second day of my chemicals course and another interesting set of lectures where I felt I learned a lot. Still no real opportunities to take any interesting Blips though; even lunch is held in the hotel's restaurant away from any natural light at all!

Luckily we finished a little earlier today and Mum and Dad delayed their departure for Yorkshire by a couple of hours so they could pop past the house on the way home. They brought cheese scones that were very well received with a cup of tea, and we just had time for one more look around the house and garden in the sunshine before they set off for the mammoth drive home.

M and I popped out to Sainsbury's to do some shopping later on, and since we were both rather full from our scones, I just made us a Greek salad with olives, feta cheese and cucumber for dinner. We watched a couple of episodes of Still Game before a bath and bed. Lovely :o)
