The accidental finding

Light Of Brain (not)

This is our WEA tutor, Dr Allan Phillipson, wearing the 'light of brain' t-shirt that his wife gave him for
Christmas! Needless to say, his brain is far from light! The original pic was a bit unflattering, so I've blurred it, to assuage his wounded vanity, LOL.

This term we're looking at the literature and social history of the late 1970s. At the moment it's Heat and Dust by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, which was also made into a Merchant-Ivory film in the 1980s. A good discussion was held.

In other amazing news, I was reunited with the bum bag containing money and keys that I lost on 16th December! The finder had publicised it on a Stroud facebook page, and I'd written it up on mine, but as neither post had gone viral, it was only when Nailsworth Farmer's Market posted on a page (somewhere) that all the loose ends were
tied up. Thanks, Phil the finder, who even dropped it off for me on his way home!

Now we just need anothet small miracle, please: how do we prove that the the Miguel A A S.... who died in Mexico in 2001, is actually the same person as our father, who went by a totally different name in the UK?
