At last, a Coal Tit

How wonderful to see sun and blue skies at last, although the forecast intimates that tomorrow is another day.

Basil and I went back to the Outwoods to try and get a decent photo of a Coal Tit, as you see. Nicely sharp but he would be in the shade. The coal tits were elusive today.

Just as I was about to move off, as Basil was at my heels urging me to actually go for a walk, a robin landed on a handy twig, with nothing in the way and a decent background, and began to trill. See extra.

I managed to walk a bit further today. Not extreme exercise but enough, coupled with the colder air, to set off asthma. Go away flu. I've had too much of you.
