TOGs at Kilchurn Castle

We woke to sunshine, or should I say, sunny intervals.

Today's objective was further afield, taking us via Tyndrum to Kilchurn Castle on the Oban road.

More bog to cross but a reasonably dry, rocky loch side on which to plant the tripods.

One of the problems of group photography is that one of the number spots a good vantage point and just stays there leaving the others to try and find something else or simply wait.

Rocks in the loch are a good anchor, viz this photo.

It was a lovely morning out. I just didn't feel happy with my results. It's too easy to get planted with a tripod and take innumerable shots of the same view.

Today's big treat was the lunch stop at The Real Food Cafe at Tyndrum which offers a gluten free menu. There I had the best meal of the week. A big, steaming bowl of lentil soup filled with vegetables, accompanied by a gluten free roll on the side.
