Jaguar

6.1C the morning dry with some bright spells then a period of smir showers and dark cloud into mid afternoon. Forecast to clear and become frosty. Light to moderate SSW/S/SSE breeze.

Last night when we were out with Fergus for his last little walk we went round to the Picture House. I had noticed earlier in the day that the long awaited installation of the Mercury Arc Rectifier was under way in the display area at the front of the building. We had been told about this discovery from the early days of the Picture House during the archive project and we were keen to see it. We found it to be smaller than we thought it would be and rather underwhelming.

Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard after lunch. There was some smir. On the way back we went round to the harbour to get a shot of Jaguar with a full load. I expect departure to be today or tomorrow.
