When Fergus Walked all the way to New Orleans

... and all the way back again

7.6C bright, clear, and sunny. Clouding over from mid afternoon with rain forecast this evening.
Light S/ESE/SE/SW breeze.

When I was out with Fergus after 7pm last night we saw the lifeboat set off across the loch again.
It was back in harbour when we went out again after 11pm.
The cargo ship Jaguar left harbour yesterday afternoon.

Not wanting to waste the glorious sunshine and clear bright light Fergus and I set off from home just before noon and walked all the way out the Kilkerran road to the 70 mile marker on the Kintyre Way near New Orleans. When we were walking along the shore side of the park past the ferry terminal we saw the lifeboat coming back in across the loch.

We walked all the way back too. It was glorious. All 7 miles or so.

Fergus had his legs washed in warm water when we got back and was towel dried.
He got extra treats for walking such a long way. He is fast asleep now.
