Suddenly Spring

It's suddenly spring, if for only one day,
with rain-clouds and gales all gone on their way.
Spring flowers emerge in their ones and their twos,
instantly clearing the January blues.
The only blue thing that is left to be seen
is the sky - a strong contrast to everything green.
Is the blue quite unbroken, so early, so soon?
Not by cloud, only one pearly half of the moon.

Inspired by the sunshine, I felt well enough to go for a lovely walk in the country lanes. The cool, fresh air cleared my tubes a treat! If only this lovely weather would last more than the odd day!

The snowdrops in my picture were growing in the hedgerow, the other flowers - a tete-a-tete daffodil, primrose and violet - are all from our garden. The poor primrose is somewhat wind and rain battered, but still colourful.

Have a lovely weekend, blipmates!
