The Questing Vole

Amwell Nature Reserve has been re-opened after last week's discovery that some birds found dead there had died of avian flu. It was a lovely afternoon so I went for a walk at the reserve.

I enjoyed watching the dunnocks gleaning under the feeders at the James Hide, they scurry about like mice - or voles. :)

I enjoyed watching this feather-footed, busy little beady-eyed bank vole too. :)
