Aoraki

Aoraki is the New Zealand name for Mount Cook, NZ's highest mountain, standing at 3,724 meters above sea level.
It was a very hot, very bright day and quite hard to take good photos from a distance because it was so bright. The lake in front is Lake Pukaki (Maori meaning, swelling or choke in the throat), the amazing blue comes from glacier fed water that contains particles of mineral in suspension.
