Lake Ohau

Today we travelled from Wanaka over to Omarama Village (Omarama means place of light in Maori) where we are going to be staying on a sheep station for two nights. We are staying here mainly so we can go and see the clay cliffs that Kiwianna mentioned in her blip of Aug 2017. What an amazing sight - l have included a collage photo of them in extras. Basically they are sandstone pinnacles caused by several centuries of erosion. Similar structures can be found in Bryce Canyon USA, where they are called hoodoos.
My main blip is M sitting looking out at beautiful Lake Ohau, so beautiful that l have included a collage of Lake Ohau as well as main one.
