Round tuit

Round tuit - to get around to doing something you have lying around. Possibly a strange NZ saying, I don't know. I don't hear it said these days but I thoigjt of it today because I did get around to a few things.

I spent a happy afternoon with cousin Mike and his wife Anne. Sadly we chatted and ate, and I have no cousin blip to show. Suddenly time was up and they needed to be away.

You get a small bowl of ground kelp in a wee bowl on a chopping board instead ;-)

Considering Dad has a cracked rib he sounded surprisingly chipper when I spoke to him.

Today's gratitude: For the (mostly) quietness of where I live.
