So, another possible image for the book cover.  I started playing about with the colour as moonlight seemed more appropriate than sunlight and then came up with this slightly fantastical look.  I'm aware you don't know the book content, but - just for itself - would really appreciate knowing if you like it..

(I have just taken Mambo's advice and flipped the image so the tree trunk is next to the book spine - many thanks, Mambo).

After a rather pretty morning it mizzled all afternoon, but as by that time I was ensconced in Costas with a coffee and a friend, that didn't seem so much of a disadvantage.
