Goodbye Ken

The memorial was held in a private home with about 20 family and us present.  It is hard to summarise 90 years of living but his two sons, his second wife and his 93 year old brother shared the highlights this afternoon.  The  slide show of photos filled in the gaps of memory and gave context to events.  The grandchildren were fascinated seeing him as a younger man.  What I came away with was the way he continued to learn and explore throughout his life.  He didn't live in the past but kept making new memories.
I took a quick hydrangea pic when I got back to my daughters house.
