Old but still beautiful

Endless Weekend gave these to me just before she and Doug headed for three weeks in Hawaii.  They'd been in her house for a week at that point, and I'm amazed at how they've continued to hold up.  Even now, when they're drawing themselves in, they're lovely to look at.

I had my drawing class again today, and we've now progressed from lines to marks.  We used Sumi ink and brushes, which was challenging for a control freak like me.  I think I'm the only one in the class with no recent drawing training, and I'm impressed by the work some of the others have to show.
