Go Forth

It being a fine day, we did what you do - that’s right, went for a motor. First stop, Port Edgar to sniff about the boats, take snaps of the bridges and pick up some anti-fouling. Then onward to the Hopetoun garden centre. What a joy! Tea and scones with jam. Some very fine hairdos on display; my mother always went on a Friday morning too.
And we picked up a lovely little cherry tree - some sort of double flower thing with pink blossom. Once my back is fully recovered it’ll get placed at the top of the slope for people to come from all around and gawp at. Maybe next year I’ll take a photo of the blossom with the background all out of focus. I’m squirming with anticipation already.
