February patchwork

Spring is sending up signals in the form of snowdrops, primroses and daffodils but  winter's quilt is still stretched firmly across the land.

All these  textures are from a walk on the coast. Most are lichens but also featured are  withered grass, dry bracken,  bramble thicket and earth from a mole hill.
