The dropped stitch

tanker

Mostly, a beautiful colour of sea. The tanker , which actually looked really big, is leaving Flotta. You may just spot the pilot boats guiding it? (Need to get a better camera...!)

Enjoyed the morning, clearing seaweed thrown up by wild seas onto J's wildflower meadow. Again... but there wasn't nearly as much as the last time. We rake and barrrow it back onto the beach, gathering all the tiny pieces of rope, plastic and other rubbish into a separate bucket. At one point the wind took this bucket and threw it down onto the beach, emptying its contents on the way. Strong words were uttered, but they too were taken by the wind as soon as spoken.

The afternoon was spent scouring the countryside looking for addresses. Most people were out! So mile count high and meter count low :(
Better luck tomorrow, I hope.
