Tiny Tuesday - "Spikey"

Let's get straight to the point of this pic. The theme is "spikey" and our holly tree certainly is too. It snowed, almost, last night and this morning the garden is covered in the thinnest skimming of snow. Probably, all the trains have stopped. 

But it has made the morning Sun shine ever more brightly, with reflections from every surface. Apart of course from the holly leaf, which being think and dark has already warmed sufficiently to clear it's spikey foliage.

It's fun, now I've got a few years in, to ping back from the daily picture and review what was going on in years past. This time last year I took a photo of the front garden, and there's the holly tree on a frosty Mono Monday morning!
