That Great British Bake Off has a lot to answer for! So enthralled was I that it made me.....yes MADE me buy a food mixer so that I too can rediscover how crap I am at baking produce the lightest chiffon sponges, mouth watering pithiviers and moistest lemon drizzle cakes.

In other news, I joined Weight Watchers online. I am the master of self sabotage.

Oh yes, Ele and her friend Aileen came for lunch. Aga baked potatoes are the biz! :D Also the kitchen sink blocked and a rather handsome young pumber came to sort it out. An all round lovely afternoon. :))
