Gorse in bloom

When isn't it in bloom?! These bushes were absolutely covered but no scent as it was another very cold morning. We were glad of frost as the mud was less available.
This was a last walk on Ashdown Forest before a slow drive home due to weight of traffic. The weather was horrid, lots of spray, and the M25 busier than a usual Saturday because of half term. So we are glad to be back and making inroads into the vast quantity of washing. Early bed tonight ...
