Between the Snow Showers

3.0C with lots of snow showers and a very few bright spells.
Wind WNW/NW to 24 mph with gusts to 43 mph.

Grocery shopping.

Went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There was some slush on the road heading South and some snow lying on the higher ground. As we reached Carskey we could see Northern Ireland very clearly. Lots of snow on the high ground over there.

At Carskey we walked along towards the far end and back. One seal was swimming along just offshore. We kept Fergus on his lead just in case he bullied a tiny Spaniel puppy which was running about chasing a squeaky ball. Nearing the far end of the beach a heavy snow shower started, so we turned and wandered back to the car with the snow coming from behind us. Lots of sheep appeared on the top of the dune line, just coming over to use top to protect them from the driving snow.

Later Apothecary7 was painting.
