Yet Another

More gardening - a couple of creeping dogwoods and yet another vinca. And then.. what I’d been fearing... we finished The Last of Us. Quite irreplaceable I fear.
So, fearing that, the irreplaceableness, we took ourselves off to watch Donald Crowhurst come unstuck in The Mercy. Not a bad wee film - he did pretty well to get as far as he did. Having read Voyage for Madmen, I’m not sure that Firth has really got Crowhurst nailed - there was too much self doubt in his depiction. Crowhurst had an extraordinary talent for making people believe him - his power lay in the fact that he had completely convinced himself.
I think I may propose myself for the role in our upcoming acting class...
