Russian Wolfhound

On Rue Tolbiac (looking towards Avenue d'Italie, marked by the KFC store). Russian Wolfhounds are also known as Borzoi. This one is awaiting its mate, who showed up a few minutes later. I blipped  the pair one day less than two years ago.  The bus passing on the right is the 62, heading east on its long, nearly straight route. A quiet day; light snow was forecast, but only a few flakes fell. Our building mates  Sylviane and Bernard joined us for tea; their apartment has a superb view on the 7th floor.  We have greatly enjoyed getting to know them.  

Next day:  I can't resist noting that a Borzoi was a top finisher at today's Westminster Dog Show (page down to see it :)
