Sweetheart

Today has passed in rather a blur  of activity at my desk,  interspersed with time with Violet who unfortunately has been very poorly again.  The poor little mite had only just got over chickenpox last week when a virus struck on Monday night.  She spent most of yesterday with me and again today, when fortunately Mr MC was at home and as a bonus, there was respite from the decorating as J was spending the day with his wife.
The roses and heart shape chocolates are  a gift from Violet and her mummy this evening to say thank you for looking after her.  She really has been a very brave girl, although clearly has felt rotten a lot of the time.  We're hoping that she'll be feeling better for her day out tomorrow at Chessington Zoo
