Thieving Jackdaw

I've mentioned before that one of the local jackdaw population had mastered the art of landing on the feeder, despite his size,  to steal the food that is intended for the smaller birds.  He's got really good at it now - his flight in is a delight to watch, and there really isn't that much flapping about as he gains his balance.  Needless to say he scares the pants off the smaller birds who scarper as soon as he glides in.
