~The Waxing Crescent~

~Creciente de la Luna~

This moon is know as The Young Moon, because it is growing larger. Just 32% is illuminated by the sun tonight. Tomorrow night it will reach its first quarter where the sun will be shining on one half of its surface. It will take another nine days for the moon to reach its full phase. I like this undeveloped stage, it just seems more dynamic, the crescent seems to be moving and living.
