Croci

Another trip up to Darlington to see mother in law today.

We went out for a very nice (large) lunch at the Eden Arms in West Auckland - a great roast beef dinner all very nicely cooked and served.

Then on to Bishop Auckland to stock up on her meals for the next week. It is a little awkward trying to buy ready meals that are dated over a week away - which is how long it will be until our next visit as we will be working at the Harrogate Quilt show until Sunday night. We had to put a couple in the freezer and left a note for the carers to get one out each day for the next day (as they can’t be cooked from frozen).

MIL’s garden is awash with snowdrops and yellow croci (or more commonly crocuses) so I grabbed a couple of shots of some of them as I had no other photo lined up for blip.

It was almost dark when we got back and I had to take Finlay out for his walk as he had been cooped up all day again.
