An exciting visitor!

Last fall our pair of pileated woodpeckers took off for regions unknown (to me), and we haven't seen them since. This morning, as I was getting ready for church, I heard their distinctive "I'm here," call, and ran to the kitchen window, hoping I wasn't imagining things. To my delight, it wasn't my imagination, they had actually returned. Here's hoping they stay for a long time. The extra for today is another picture of the big woodpecker.
