Light after the dawn across the Golden Valley

I rose early to get ready to go to work at John and Liz's home near Whiteshill. The early morning light was gorgeous so I grabbed a camera and poked my head out of my study window.

The frozen ground has yet to be warmed by the sun's rays . I always like to see the near horizontal sunshine touching the walls of the houses on the spring line on the south side of the valley. They have very little chance of direct light after the morning passes, which is why we bought a house on the north side. I have never regretted that decision.
