The Kites Nest valley at Stokenhill

I'm helping John and Liz with the decoration of their lovely home near Whiteshill.  John makes a light lunch, so I took a few minutes while he was cooking some eggs to go out to the hayrd below the house.

This is the view across the field to the stream running down Kites Nest valley and beyond. The valley is a tributary of the Painswick stream, one of the so-called Five Valleys which meet at Stroud.

I've always enjoyed spending time, and quite a lot of it over the years looking out of their windows, and now from this yard, at the wonderful Cotswold landscape which we live in.
