Kites Nest farm at the head of the valley

This is a view from the same spot as my blip from yesterday. I'm still at work at John and Liz's.

The farm is still active and retains the name of the valley. It is quite possible that the name will be become accurate once again. Red Kites are gradually spreading their habitats towards this area once again having been re-introduced to England about thirty years ago in the Chiltern Hills, about sixty miles to the east of the Cotswolds. They are certainly nesting near cirencester now, which is only thirteen miles away.
