Shhhhh.

Spent the first part of the morning doing some bike maintenance, replacing the derailleur on the bike that suffered a broken gear hanger. At least the back wheel can be put back on the bike. Just have the chain and cable to replace.

After coffee, my partner needed to go in to town, so she decided we should have lunch out as well. I managed to get two new fleece tops as well. The Extra shows the view at lunch.

After lunch, we head down to Leith to see if we can get twin 2 a Hawaiian shirt from a charity shop. It all my partner's fault. She said we could easily get a shirt from a charity shop for his night out, which seems to have instantly jinxed it. None found at the charity shops at the Foot of the Walk.

As we walk up Leith Walk, the old tram depots have been demolished.  The building in front still exists, along with its graffiti art of Alfred Hitchcock.

We visit another three charity shops, but to no avail. There is one remaining shop we can try Armstong & Son Vintage Clothing Emporium in Clerk Street. We have coffee and get a bus to Newington. We are in luck. There is a great selection (its not a charity shop, so my partner has to admit defeat) Its £14 for a quality Hawaiian shirt, its in good condition though.

Shhhhhh? No. Twin 2 is told where it was bought. Still better than buying a new one.

I'm sure there will be a glut of Hawaiian shirts pretty soon in a charity shop near us soon. Possibly tomorrow.
