Tragedy

Selina, standing here in floods of tears nestled into Sydney's neck for comfort, was devastated; well they both were being hot tips for a gold in the free skating!

Utter disaster today at the AOG's here in Gloucestershire. The darling of Team Swan and a gold medal cert slipped and twisted her ankle whilst executing a double Axle followed by a triple  Salchow on the ice.  A daring manoeuvre in anyone's book but one Selina had practised many times before with her now fiancé Sydney. 

Totally inconsolable, with their fans standing watching in dismay hoping that her injury wouldn't be too serious, it was a sad moment. We wish Serena all the best and hope that she will be able to continue with the remainder of the AOGames putting this blip behind her.
