There and back

Great excitement this morning as the view from the window was FOG!  Would it or wouldn't it be a cloud inversion?  

I decided to walk to Ilkley and catch the train home.  In very atmospheric conditions (but no inversion) we headed up high and almost reached the Cow & Calf before the first peep of sun made it through.  It was then so lovely that we couldn't possibly drop down to catch the train home. 

So we walked back along the edge.  This is what we would have missed.
