Crummockwater

I took the van out for the first time since I arrived in the lakes and parked at Lanthwaite woods to walk to Crummockwater. It's been a lovely day but the wind was so strong you could have surfed on the lake. I took a walk around towards Crescent Beach but soon retreated to walk beside the River Cocker to the car park where I had the lunch I prepared earlier.

My main blip is of Grassmoor across the lake and I've also added an extra of a lovely load of snowdrops growing beside the river. I've been putting photos in an album here if you'd like to see more.
