Scarface/Quasimodo

A quick walk with the camera this morning before I took MrQ to see the consultant about his cataract operation. I see this robin regularly in its territory between our two southerly blocks of disused glasshouses and call it Scarface. It has a lesion under its eye, I thought it might have been an injury caused during a fight with another robin but in this image it looks more like a growth. Also the bird looks in this picture to have a humpty back. Maybe it is suffering from some sort of syndrome?
