A time for everything

Dayton Air Force museum

Saturday
Knowing we were in for another dismal wet day, we planned an outing to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton. It’s a huge museum, and it’s free, so not surprisingly it was a popular place to be on this wet Saturday. We had a bit of a late start, and then Laura called as I was fixing breakfast, so it was after midday before we got up there. We have visited before, but many years ago now. We started with a section we knew we hadn’t seen before, as it’s only recently been moved to the main area - Presidential aircraft and research and development aircraft, and then Cold War aircraft. An interesting day, and a great way to spend a wet day.
