Welcome little calf

We were on a walk with Omo at Otzberg after dropping T. at her youth group.
We came along a pasture with “Teddybear cows”, with thick fur and friendly faces. Underneath a shelter I spotted this calf. Obviously it was just new born and tried his very first careful steps.
It is a lucky one, because it is born in the best conditions:
Fresh air, place to lie, place to move and play, accompanions of every age, fresh grass, birds, the opportunity to live in the change of the weather and the seasons, a mother with horns, even with crooked ones, a big family to protect it and obviously an owner who loves cows....
The by far most other cows have to suffer in muchs worse conditions...

We decided to dare some renovations and spent the most time in different building centers :-(
