Stretching for the Last Bits!

We've been orienteering in Bishop Wood near Sherburn-in-Elmet this morning in lovely sunshine.  It's a flat, brambly bit of woodland so a savlon bath was in order on our return home, with a pair of tweezers to hand!  Despite the brambles, the courses were well planned and fun to run.  I made one of my typical errors on a route choice (how many years have I been doing this?!) so my 5th finishing position might possibly have been higher!

After tucking in to a couple of Tony's yummy home made sausage rolls we drove to Mary's for a cuppa and a catch up before heading home for that antiseptic bath!

A cold snap and possible snow is on the horizon so the elder tree was full of birds stocking up from the feeders.  This coal tit was stretching right to the back of the flutter butter jar.  Everything crossed that Tomas and Marketa manage to fly in to Leeds Bradford on Thursday...
