Smattering

We had a gorgeous walk up Cardingmill Valley, nearly solitary, and Poppydog enjoyed a quick splash in icy water. All along the brook the sides were covered in icicles like frilly knickers, all frothy along their bases (extra).
Back home and we've been extremely idle for no particular reason, other than sifting through our house purchase yesterday was pretty stressful. But moved us on. I've done a bit of quilting on the magnum opus (but not alot); I confess to a blip afternoon, catching up and browsing magnificent photos; and watching the snow come and go during the afternoon. The blip is a taste of today's weather.
LD and her LF arrived back this afternoon, all excited to be going back to work tomorrow (not really!). We see them at the end of the week when we drop Poppydog off with them for a few days. It'll be so lovely to see them :-)
