Bee haven.......

.....not my garden but mum's garden, full of colour and looking lovely against a dull day.

Mum has a small section with just enough room to potter in her garden. It's always full of colour with camellia's and rhododendrons along the fenceline and this year impatiens along the border. On the more sunny side are alstromeria's, scabiosa, dahlia's and marigolds and on the deck are potted plants of lavender and osteospermum, plenty of choice for honey bees and bumble bees while sparrows and blackbirds bathe in the bird bath.

Mum's living area overlooks the garden, a beautiful array of shades, I call it her 'Mini Botantical Garden', it's very hard to find a weed in this garden.

Wednesday.....morning dawned with light drizzle, a mostly cloudy day making it hard to drive as light bounced off the clouds. R was mainly sleeping when we called by, not at all responsive today. A lovely chat with mum over lunch and then our usual grocery shop, somehow Wednesday has flown by.....hope it's been a good day for you :)
