How to Respond to a Red Alert

The dire weather predictions have come to pass - we are well and truly snowed in. It's hard to say how much has fallen, the depth varies depending on where you look. I suppose what matters is the stuff on the drive - about 30 centimetres, or a foot or so in old money.

We cancelled the Afternoon Tea.  We won't attempt Soutra tomorrow.  There is still a severe weather warning in place.  

TM has yomped out to  the garage, I haven't been over the doorstep, but Dougie ventured out for a bit. Now he's decided the best way to deal with all this snow nonsense is a wee nap.
