Snow Event

All happening on a 10 minute journey into school where I was VIP for International Book Day (admittedly a day early). No sooner was I out of the house when a snow event swept down the bay (meteorological speak). It's been sunny and snowy with temps around 1C but tomorrow we have all been told to stay inside! Apparently there are blizzards, gales and thunder to look forward to and not a packet of slice bread left on the shelves.

Book Day was fun. The kids were all in their jimjams and I got to read the little ones some stories and impress the bigger ones with tales of being an author!

An interesting film last night - Happy End - very French, very chic, very serious food eating, very obtuse and very complicated relationships.  Excellent film-making too - you have to really work hard for there's so much going on, not necessarily where you might expect it either. 

And congrats to Cailleach and the 100th Wild Wednesday - she knows how to put on the perfect weather!
