Jinney Ring

We met our friends Nicola and Stewart for lunch at Jinney Ring, a craft centre at Hanbury in Worcestershire.  It was/is a cold day and we took a table near the large wood burner, which unfortunately was not as warm as one would think from the size of it.

Anyway we had a good lunch, a couple of  beers and a nice chat.

Later I had a bit of a walk round with Ann.  It was freezing cold and snowing on and off.  I quickly took some photos and we retreated to the car.  By this time the snow was falling much heavier and driving home was a little challenging.

The picture shows the lake, frozen and covered in snow, the extra is a moorhen I spotted taking a tentative step out onto the ice.
