Just In Time

There was no cross-country skiing today at the Olympics. So there was nothing more to do than to put my nose into a book. Good thing too, because this afternoon I went to my book group and I hadn’t finished the book.

We meet in Maidenhead, with lunch first. I stayed behind for awhile when we finished and helped with the cleanup. I left just in time to stop at Pinkney’s Green and did a loop as the sun was setting. This little group of trees is right in the middle of the big open green. There’s a big log in the middle and I like to sit here sometimes and just enjoy the view. Today was very cold, so I didn’t stay long!
