Snowy

A bit of a lie-in this morning with no rush to do anything particularly. We walked the block in the cold and still quite deep snow although it hadn't really put anything more down overnight. Home for breakfast and then I settled down to get some Y11 exam marking done. It's a bit of a gift to have the time to do it rather than to have to fit it in with everything else. Bailey resisted it at first with quite a bit of whining but then settled down and kept me company.

2 reading questions marked on 200 papers by a late lunch with another walk for Bailey in the middle. That's my commitment on that paper but as they can't currently be passed on to anyone else, I might mark a third question.

A third and final walk for Bailey late this afternoon and the coldest one of the day. He has been prepared to wear his coat but it doesn't stop the snow balls from gathering on his legs. He's quite intrigued by them. Once we were back, I decided I needed to clear the snow out from behind the gate to allow the dog walker access. It didn't take too much effort as it is still quite powdery but there was plenty of it as evidenced in the extra. It turned out to be an unnecessary effort as school is closed again tomorrow on Lincs County Council advice, apparently. A long weekend is very welcome as is the fact that I don't have to shift the car any time soon.
