Dickensian Village

The snowy scenes throughout my village today transformed it into a picturesque Dickensian world. Beautiful oak beamed cottages were covered in a white blanket while icicles decorated the stain glass windows at the church.

Community spirit was at its warmest as the temperatures plummeted as low as -12.5C at 6am this morning. Local businesses have been helping each other out with deliveries and villagers are checking up on the elderly.

Spirits remained high this evening as I joined some castle friends for a swift half in the pub. Well, what else to do after another snow day?
