busy going nowhere

still not going anywhere by car - this morning Storm Emma was whipping up the snow and flinging it down in drifts, and the drive and back road are pretty slippy. We have plenty of food in the house and Luke has two days until he needs to be back at work. It feels like the days between Christmas and New Year, but with none of the expectation.

This afternoon we all headed out for a walk up Newtonairds Hill. It was lovely to see the snowy view from the top. Jess loved it, too :-) I could get used to this...
